The impressive hydrostatic four-wheel drive allows the speed to be controlled completely steplessly and without jerks. Spring elements on the front and rear axles create a smooth ride even when driving off-road. An important safety feature of the C 55 SC is the load compensation on the wheels: This means that all 4 wheels always have contact with the ground, even on steep and uneven terrain or when driving over obstacles.
