The smart robot vacuum cleaner RCV 3 with precise LiDAR navigation and convenient app control clean carpets and hard surfaces completely autonomously and systematically. Hard surfaces can also be wiped when wet.
More time for the nice things in life: The smart RCV 3 robot vacuum cleaner takes care of floor cleaning. Once started, the RCV 3 systematically and independently cleans your hard floors and carpets. Dry dirt is reliably transported to the built-in waste container by the rotating brush, the side brush for the edges and the fan. If necessary, the RCV 3 not only vacuums, it can also wet mop. When the battery capacity decreases, the RCV 3 can regularly recharge itself and always returns to the charging station after the job is finished. Via the app, the RCV 3 can be sent on a discovery tour and will automatically create a map of the rooms by detecting the surroundings ( LiDAR ). Individual cleaning parameters can be set for each room, for example which rooms should be vacuumed, wet mopped or not cleaned at all. Additional sensors prevent the device from falling, for example down stairs. For cleaning tasks, the RCV 3 can be easily started via the app, using a pre-set individual schedule or by pressing a button on the device. If the robot vacuum cleaner needs help, it will in many situations notify you via voice control.
Features and benefits
Wet mopping
For even better cleaning results, the RCV 3 can also wet mop. If necessary, use the wiping unit with a microfibre cloth, fill the fresh water tank and you are ready to go. The RCV 3 robot vacuum cleaner can either be used for cleaning only, for wet mopping only or with both options together in the combined cleaning mode.
Precise navigation
LiDAR sensors on the RCV 3 allow it to be highly accurate in scanning rooms and creating detailed mapping for safe cleaning. With its fast and robust LiDAR navigation scans your rooms and thus has the best maps to navigate safely and reliably through rooms even in the dark.
Fall sensor
The fall sensors reliably prevent the RCV 3 from falling down stairs. The sensors scan the floor. If a large slope is detected, the controller receives a signal that triggers the robot to turn around.Data protection and updates
- Kärcher is based in Germany, which means we attach great importance to data protection and take great care to ensure that all applicable legal requirements in this regard are met.
- All data transfer between the Home Robots app on your smartphone and your robot vacuum cleaner and mop goes via a cloud to servers in Germany.
- Regular updates improve and extend the performance of the robot vacuum cleaner and the app. This also means that the system's security is constantly updated to match current specifications.
Voice output
- Always well-informed: RCV 3 uses voice output to provide important information and share current status.
- If the RCV 3 robot vacuum cleaner needs help or service, it will tell you via voice control in many situations.
Easily controlled via the app with wifi
- The app can be used to customize many of the settings to match individual preferences.
- With the app, you can configure the RCV 3 cleaning robot and control it from any location, even when you are not at home.
- Information about the current product status and a display showing the current cleaning progress are available in the app.
Precise mapping with versatile customization options
- The app can store multiple maps, e.g. for multiple floors.
- It is possible to define zones where you do not want the robot to go and clean (e.g. play areas in children's rooms or obstacles that the robot cannot avoid).
- Definition of selected areas to be cleaned multiple times, cleaned with an intensive cleaning mode, or mopped with more water.
Adjusting the cleaning parameters
- Definition of different cleaning parameters in the app, for individual areas in the rooms (e.g. suction power or water volume, number of cleanings per surface).
Timer program
- You can schedule cleaning times and create cleaning plans through the app.
- RCV 3 independently starts cleaning based on scheduled dates/times.
